Our Story

From Army Service
to Academy Excellence.

Hubli Sports Shooting Academy (HSSA) was founded on April 1st, 2017, by Shri Ravichandra Balehosur. His journey began in the Indian Army, where he served with distinction as part of the Indian Peace Keeping Force.

During his service, he dedicated years as the Shooting Coach for the Indian Army team. Upon retirement, he envisioned a future where Olympic shooting was accessible to all in Karnataka.

He channeled his retirement benefits to establish HSSA—the first academy of its kind outside Bangalore and Mysore. Today, HSSA stands as a testament to self-reliance and the pursuit of national pride.
